                                               Truth In Writing

About Me:

Why I Write:

Christopher Tumbleston, Writer/Creative Consultant

I write to experience truth. Writing keeps me in touch with what’s left of my dwindling sanity. I find peace, meaning, and solace in it. It gives me an outlet to reveal my soul to the world. I write because it's the only thing I can do that while I'm doing it I don't feel like I should be doing something else. It keeps me out of the darkness and sheds light on the person I truly am. In those moments behind my chattering keyboard I’m able to connect with something bigger than myself. It feels like the consciousness of the universe is live-streaming itself through me. Fiction is my way of showing the world what it is by crafting a world that it’s not. Join in and enjoy the delusion.

I graduated from Clemson University in 2011 with a BS in Business Management. Prior to that I worked as a full-time custodian to put myself through school. That job not only helped me through school but also afforded a lot of time to think which I used to create many of the story ideas I have published. I am presently working as a Customer Specialist at CarMax and really love my job. I've recently tried my hand at videography and hope to use the skills I'm learning to bring some of my story ideas to life. My goal, besides turning the world upside down, is to follow my passion for writing wherever it may lead. Allons-y!
